Perfect pastry shop. Great homemade chocolates. A little more expensive but worth the price. The young saleswomen should be taught the meaning of the word service. I would have bought more ...
long wait
A marzipan cake topper costs € 20 here, I think it's exaggerated, I wouldn't recommend shopping here. But the saleswoman was moderately friendly.
The café is self-service and the prices are advertised in the counter. For example, the ham croissant € 2.00 and the cash register deducts € 2.70. When asked that the croissant is advertised for less, the only answer was “Yes, these are the take-away prices”. I then: "But you save the bag for that?" There was no further comment ... What a shame. The croissant was good though. The cup of coffee a bit small.
This year I have only been to Café Zimmermann twice and will never go there again due to the staff. Both times I was served very unfriendly by the same saleswoman. On my second visit, I ordered a marzipan cake topper and was served there so dismissively, harshly and grumpily (I had the impression that I, as a customer, would leave her alone and should leave her alone) that I didn't want to put up with it, whereupon I did I went to Cafe Zimmermann again on the same day to cancel the order. The saleswoman remembered me very well and then laughed at me. At the bakery Medla here in Nürtingen, I then ordered my cake topper from a very friendly and courteous saleswoman and was very satisfied here. Of course, I don't want to lump all the shop assistants at Café Zimmermann together. There are certainly also friendly and customer-oriented staff here. But I will never shop there again because as a customer I don't have to be treated like that!
The cake is great. The buffet staff very unfriendly. The café is getting old
Insane prices! Nowhere is breakfast or lunch so cheap! Plus cozy and nice staff
Cappucchino very good, cake good, but: If you can't manage to bring the cake to coffee in a timely manner, you should at least bring the cake first. It won't get cold! It is excused for lack of staff. OK. Still annoying. Price / performance ratio medium.
Again and again overwhelmed and rather not customer-oriented waitresses. I'm happy when the Schümli is open again.
Just a cult in Nürtingen. Having spent so many years right in the center has something to say. Pastry is made incredibly well ... highly recommended
Friendly service. Tasty cake?
Nice, well-kept cafe with good selection of breakfast and very friendly staff. I would go back
Nice old-established cafe, friendly staff and a varied offer for many years, the price level is full of quality.
We are very disappointed. We had ordered with full anticipation our three-story wedding cake. Unfortunately we were completely disappointed. It was not delivered the deco where ordered. Then the cakes were very dry! For the price a real disappointment and then on such a day! We will not come for coffee and cake anymore. As compensation you get a packet of chocolates.
Lovely jubbly!
Went here for lunch and were satisfied. The food tasted good and we were served friendly.
Ice Review I just had a scoop of homemade pastry ice cream. Flavor Pistachio. Unfortunately, the ice cream tasted more like anise than pistachio. The consistency was firm and therefore good for the current heat. What I did not like: in the ice were relatively large pieces of frozen water. The waffle looked like a super cheap with little taste, but then it was better than expected.
Very good pastries and huge selection of cakes and pies, nice, but very slow service and a crying eye who you have to watch how they partially pack the pie pieces, where all the joy fades away and the magic is gone because it is just a greasy who you unpack it at home. Of course you will not find a trained staff anymore, but that should at least be trained how to pack with love.
Centrally located in Nürtingen, therefore easy to reach. Parking garages nearby. The Sparkassen underground car park not only a few steps away. The service in the cafe and in the front sale is very good. The staff can provide information on the products, their ingredients and their origin. The foods that are sold are high quality and worth their money. Not only are the chocolates excellent. Here's my best taste of the city for my taste. Conclusion: predicate recommended.
The best chocolates I've eaten in Germany so far - and I'm 50 and I love chocolate! An exchange student brought them to me and now for Christmas I have them sent for us and as a gift. No problem, super nice service. So if you are looking for something really good and you do not have to look too much at the price (that's the case with good ingredients and the best manual work), that's right here. And by the way, I'm not "bought"; ) just excited!
Nice view of the square. Normal prices. They do not have brown sugar !!
Traditional pastry shop offering fancy cakes. They offer lunch at their cafe too.
